Hauppauge MS Student Earns Community Leadership Award

The award recognizes students who go unsung but whose contributions for their school community and those around them make the world better.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — The Hauppauge School District has partnered with The Long Island Coalition Against Bullying. The Community Leadership Award is commissioned by LICAB as a way of rewarding those students who often go unsung but whose contributions toward their school community and those around them make the world a better place.

"The district is proud to recognize the February recipient, Hauppauge Middle Schooler Mia Inzirillo," the district wrote in a news release.
