Jan. 18: Hoops, School Board and Job Openings

This Tuesday is a day of action. There's two important board meetings tonight along with a boys varsity basketball playing a challenging game at home. If you can't be everywhere at once, turn to Patch for the important details.

1. will face as challenge on the courts as they host Half Hollow Hills West at 5:45 p.m.  The Eagles, 2-2 in league season, will face off against Suffolk County's defending champions in what may be the toughest match of the season yet.

2. Hauppauge Union-Free School District's  will hold their second bi-monthly meeting of January at , 8 p.m. Items on the agenda include a presentation on the college application process.

3. Town of Smithtown's will hold their second January meeting from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. Attend to learn more about what is going on in Smithtown and voice any residential concerns.
