LI Cares Raising Funds For Ukrainian Refugees

Here is how you can donate to help Ukrainian women, children, and seniors who have escaped the Russian conflict in their home country.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — Long Island Cares is aiming to raise funds for Ukrainian refugees, according to the organization.

Long Island Cares - The Harry Chapin Regional Food Bank announced Friday it is partnering with The Global Food Banking Network to raise funds to help the European Food Banks Federation provide food for families in need. This includes women, children, and seniors who have fled Ukraine because of the Russian invasion.

If you would like to donate to help Ukrainian families, you may do so here. Donors were asked by the food bank to type in "Long Island Cares" in the "How did you hear about us?" field.
