How's It Taste: As much it's a tradition to eat New York pizza by picking up a slice and folding it in half, put it down. Grab a fork and knife, because you're going to need it.

Mama Sbarro's Chicken Parmiagno places tender, grilled chunks of white meat chicken in a thick, slightly sweet marinara sauce. Each slice has its fair amount, as blotches of mariana sauce layer over the mozzarella.

The mozzarella cheese forms a thick, soft layer flavored with a bit of oregano for a hint of spice. It's easy to bite through without the embarrassment of stretched out, stringy cheese.

The crust is  simple and relatively no-fuss. It's  thinly baked to provide a crisp crunch baking but the top remains soft enough to eat.

Eat this Because: The thick layer of marinara sauce below the cheese and then in blotches over the cheese gives that home-baked sensation as if the cheese and sauce have melded together a satisfying deep layer version of the classic Italian dish Chicken Parmigano.

Sides: Ask for a few of the homemade garlic knots from behind the counter to be heated up, usually done with fresh garlic. The aromatic smell brings out the true Italian, the fresh garlic a nice touch and added texture to the knot without being overly greasy.
