Mets Tickets Offered At Hauppauge Blood Drive Amid Summer Shortage
State Sen. Monica Martinez's June 30 blood drive will be held with New York Blood Center at the state office building in Hauppauge.
HAUPPAUGE, NY — Long Islanders can donate blood at a June blood drive in Hauppauge as summer vacations and school recesses strain regional blood supplies.
State Sen. Monica R. Martinez is hosting a Summer Blood Drive with the New York Blood Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 30 at the New York State Office Building, located at 250 Veterans Memorial Highway in Hauppauge.
The blood drive will be held on the New York Blood Center bus.

“With the region’s blood supply running low, now is not the time to balk at becoming a donor,” Martinez said. “We need all of our clutch hitters to step up to the plate. Please be the MVP that will get us through this emergency.”
Donors will receive two Mets tickets by email one week after the blood drive, organizers said.
