Orbit Receives $693K Order For Power Supply

Hauppauge-based manufacturer's power supply to be used in oil and gas exploration.

announced on Tuesday that its power group, Behlman Electronics, received a new order worth $693,000 for power supply used in oil and gas exploration.

The Hauppauge-based electronics manufacturer and software solution provider, said this is the third order Behlman has received for the power supply in 2011.

"Our commitment to being a total power solutions provider has allowed Behlman to uncover various types of long-term production programs which has fueled our revenue growth," said Mark Tublisky, president of Behlman Electronics, in a statement.

This order brings the total to more than $1,155,000 in orders for this power supply from Behlman Electronics. The power group's bookings have increased by 94 percent in the first five months of 2011.

The company expects to begin deliveries in the product in the third quarter of 2011, lasting through 2012.
