PHOTOS: Girls Soccer Takes Down Copiague, 6-0

The Lady Eagles dominated Copiague on Tuesday afternoon, improving their league record to 3-0.

The Hauppauge girls varsity soccer team dominated Copiague to win 6-0 on Tuesday afternoon.

The Lady Eagles took an early 2-0 lead in the first half before completely shutting down Copiague in the second half by scoring four unanswered points.

The win continues the team's three-game winning streak after narrowly edging out North Babylon, 2-1, on Sept. 21 and beating West Babylon soundly 3-0 on Sept. 19.

The team will take to the road to compete against Riverhead, 0-2, on Oct. 3.
