Police: Motorcyclist Killed in Brentwood Crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Brentwood Wednesday afternoon, police said.

According to police, a 31-year-old man driving a Buick Century north on Brentwood Road was attempting to make a left turn at the intersection of Suffolk Avenue when man riding a Harley Davidson south on Brentwood Road struck the side of the Buick shortly before 5 p.m.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The man driving the Buick, whom police did not name, was not injured and stayed at the scene. The victim has not yet been positively identified.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash, but has not yet been interviewed by detectives, is requested to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352. The investigation is continuing.
