Police Search Hauppauge Middle School After Report Of Person With Gun
Police say the report came in while officers were already at the school responding to a domestic incident.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — Hauppauge Middle School was searched Thursday morning after the school district received a report of a person with a gun inside the building, according to Suffolk County police.
Police were already at the school, located at 600 Townline Road, at10 a.m. responding to a domestic incident involving a parent and their child, police said.
While officers were at the school, the district received a call reporting that someone inside the school had a gun, police said.

Officers searched the school and found no weapons, according to police.
No injuries were reported.
