Police Seek Person Who Spray-Painted Racist Graffiti on Jeep

HAUPPAUGE, NY - Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a person who vandalized a vehicle in Hauppauge on Sunday.
According to police, a person wearing a hoodie spray-painted bias graffiti on the passenger side of a 2015 Jeep parked in the driveway of a home on Woodbury Road.
The person spray-painted the N-word on the vehicle and the owner of the Jeep believes the person meant to target a bi-racial couple who just moved in across the street, according to a CBS 2 report.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
