POLL: Should There Be A New Development In Islandia?
A Virgina-based developer has proposed a $100 million project which includes apartments, businesses and a hotel. What do you think?

ISLANDIA, NY - Dozens of local residents attended a public meeting on Wednesday to discuss the proposed $100 million development off the Long Island Expressway in Islandia.
The project, proposed by the Virginia-based PMG Development Group LLC, would include a high-end apartment complex as well as restaurants, stores and a hotel, according to a report in Newsday.
While some are excited of the prospect of new businesses and housing coming to the area, during the meeting several expressed concerned that the 16.5-acre development will hur local businesses, Newsday reports.
