Winning Powerball Tickets Worth $1 Million; $50,000 Ticket Sold On Long Island

Monday's brutal cold probably doesn't feel so bad to two Long Islanders who won big prizes in Saturday night's Powerball drawing.

A second-prize-winning ticket was sold at Baldwin Smoke Shop located at 1757 Grand Ave. in Baldwin, the New York Lottery announced Monday. That ticket, which matched all five numbers and just missed the Powerball, is worth $1 million.

A third-prize-winning ticket worth $50,000 was sold at Bapa Card and Gift located at 763 Old Country Road in Riverhead.

No one hit the $94 million jackpot in Saturday's drawing. The jackpot is now $106 million for Wednesday's drawing.

The winning numbers for Saturday's drawing were: 3-12-24-37-63 and Powerball 10.

Winning tickets expire one year after the game’s drawing.
