SCWBEC Honors Outstanding Female Community Leader at Luncheon
Multiple-Award-Winner Terri Alessi-Miceli Receives Yet Another Honor from Long Island's Premier Women's Organization at Sponsor Showcase
The Suffolk County Women’s Business Enterprise Coalition (SCWBEC) is proud to continue the longstanding tradition of recognizing outstanding women in the business community. In homage to the “Year of the Woman,” the organization has elected to honor Terri Alessi-Miceli at its 2018 Annual Sponsor Showcase and Luncheon. Already a multiple award-winner, there is none more deserving of this honor. Unfazed by her position in a male-dominated industry, Terri, the current President and CEO of the HIA-LI, exemplifies the “woman code,” a philosophy popularized by corporate diversity champion and leadership trainer, Sophie A. Nelson, Esq." Terri has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Women Professionals on Long Island by the Long Island Business News and honored with the Harry Chapin Humanitarian Award for her work with Long Island Cares and Dress for Success. Most recently, she has been named to the Long Island Press Power List where she is being recognized as one of Long Island’s most influential people. Her commitment to excellence in leadership and community spirit is unparalleled. She is widely quoted and has been featured in publications such as Newsday, Networking Magazine, Smithtown News and the Long Island Business News, among others. A true community leader, her successful career and non-profit work have inspired Long Island entrepreneurs and business women for decades. SCWBEC is pleased to add Terri Alessi-Miceli to our roster of dynamic honorees.
