The November 18th meeting of the Suffolk County Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club will highlight the resources available to assist LI businesses enter the global marketplace. Various initiatives and programs will be explored that focus on how inventors can expand US sales to overseas markets for their products or services. While global opportunities exist across sectors in various markets, there are also challenges to consider when thinking about going global which will also be addressed.

Susan Sadocha, Director, of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Long Island U.S. Export Assistance Center has spent the majority of her career in public service within the international trade and development arena. Before joining Commerce, Ms. Sadocha held various policy and programmatic positions within USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) in Washington D.C, and managed several portfolios which sought to increase US agricultural exports.
