Teachers Federal Credit Union Provides Free Marketing Education for Long Island Businesses

TFCUniversity offers "Marketing Roundtables" with local experts on Tuesday, September 20 at TFCU's Hauppauge headquarters.

Hauppauge, N.Y., September 13, 2016 – Long Island is home to thousands of small and medium size businesses. Many of these business owners and managers struggle to keep up-to-date with and understand how to successfully market and grow their businesses. To assist businesses and entrepreneurial minded Long Islanders, Teachers Federal Credit Union (TFCU), one of the country’s largest credit unions, presents TFCUniversity Business Clinic Marketing Roundtables. This comprehensive free business marketing and educational program features five roundtables led by industry experts in marketing strategies for success. The next program will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 7:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at TFCU Headquarters at 102 Motor Parkway, Lower Level Meeting Rooms 1 and 2, Hauppauge, New York.

8:30 a.m. to 9:30/9:45 a.m. – Roundtable Discussions

“Understanding marketing strategies and trends is critical for business growth and success. This special TFCUniversity Business Clinic will give attendees the opportunity to interact and learn directly from local marketing experts. We encourage Long Island business owners, executives, managers and entrepreneurs to attend this event, ask questions and uncover new ways to achieve business success,” said Robert Allen, TFCU President/CEO.

Roundtable Leaders will be: Direct Marketing – Gregory P. Demetriou, President and CEO of Lorraine Gregory Communications; Brand Enhancement – Lisa Chalker, Founder, Family Affair Distributing; Web and Digital Marketing – Henry Bramwell, President, Visionary; Social Media – Beth Granger, CEO, Beth Granger Consulting; and Integrated Media Planning – Erica Brown, Integrated Media Supervisor, Austin & Williams.

Each of the roundtable leaders will moderate five 12-min. discussions with small groups. Participants will have the opportunity to meet each of the experts and ask questions. The 60 minute program is designed to give attendees new ideas and learn about strategies that they can implement to attract more business. The five roundtable topics include:

• Five tips to enhance your brand’s image.

• The Do’s and Don’ts of Website Design

• What social media platform is right for me?

• How to develop a media strategy that works.
