BROOKLYN HEIGHTS— Actors John Krasinski and Emily Blunt sold a ninth-floor apartment in their Brooklyn Heights building for $6.5 million, adding to the couple's real estate moves at the Standish, a former hotel converted into luxury residences.
A trust tied to the actors sold the apartment in an off-market deal in June, according to property records made public Wednesday.
The buyer used a limited liability company, which obscured the purchaser's identity.
Krasinski and Blunt bought two apartments spanning the building's eighth floor in 2018 for $11 million.
The trust later purchased the ninth-floor unit, apartment 9B, for $5 million in January 2024 and filed permits for renovations, according to property records and city filings.
The nearly 1,600-square-foot apartment sits directly above the couple's eighth-floor residence.
Similar units in the building's B line feature three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The couple's reason for buying and later selling the additional apartment remains unclear.
The Standish, a limestone-and-brick building completed in 1903, has attracted other high-profile buyers.
Matt Damon purchased a roughly 6,000-square-foot penthouse for $16.7 million in 2017.
Adam Driver bought three sixth-floor apartments totaling about 3,500 square feet for $11.5 million earlier this year.
Residents have access to a 24-hour doorman, a fitness center and a rooftop terrace overlooking the harbor.
