14-Year-Old Boy Suffers Serious Injury After E-Bike Crash, Police Say

WESTBURY, NY — A 14-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after crashing into a car in Westbury on Thursday afternoon, police said.

According to Nassau County police, the teenager was operating an e-bike northbound on Powells Lane when he struck a 2025 Honda CR-V that was stationary in traffic near Baldwin Drive at 2:55 p.m.

The teenager was transported to a nearby hospital for evaluation and treatment, police said. The driver of the Honda remained on scene, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
