2 Men Pushed, Slashed, Robbed Of More Than $2,000 In Hicksville: Cops

Police are searching for the person who committed the crime early Thursday.

HICKSVILLE, NY — Two men were robbed during the overnight hours Thursday in Hicksville, police said.

The 40-year-old victims were walking on Lee Avenue near Linden Boulevard, just after 12:30 a.m., when a man on a bicycle pushed them to the ground, authorities said.

The man took grabbed approximately $2,500 and a phone from the victims before displaying a knife, police said.

The victims were taken to a hospital for slash wounds to the hands, police said.
