21-Year-Old Arrested After Beating, Biting Older Man’s Ear, Arm In Hicksville: Police

HICKSVILLE, NY — A 21-year-old man was arrested after a physical altercation with an older man on Thursday night in Hicksville, police said.

Nassau County police said officers responded to Burns Avenue, where it was determined that Alejandro Adorno of Hicksville was involved in an argument with a 68-year-old man at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The argument escalated into a physical altercation, and Adorno was accused of striking the older man with a closed fist multiple times, knocking him to the ground, and biting his ear and arm.

They were both transported to local hospitals for evaluation and treatment, police said.

NCPD said Adorno was charged with first-degree assault and second-degree assault. He will be arraigned on March 27 at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
