With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. The main emphasis of our programs is to teach children to swim correctly and develop essential water skills in a relaxed environment. Police are looking to identify the person who stole $4,000 worth of oxygen tanks from a Westbury store in December.According to authorities, the thief was observed on surveillance camera inside General Welding Supply, located at 600 Shames Drive, stealing 14 oxygen tanks on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 11 p.m.The thief, who is wanted for grand larceny, may have fled the scene in a black SUV in an unknown direction.Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who can identify this person, or with any information about this crime to call their toll-free hotline at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477).Image via Crime Stoppers
