Hicksville Man With Autism Reported Missing Early Wednesday Morning: PD

According to police, Lupo is very distinguishable by the way he taps his head with his hand while walking.

HICKSVILLE, NY — A Hicksville man with autism has been reported missing early Wednesday morning, police said.

Matthew Lupo, 28, was last seen leaving his Hunters Lane home by foot at 3 a.m. on July 15, Nassau County police said.

He is a white man, 5-feet 6-inches tall, who weighs about 135 lbs. and has curly brown hair and blue eyes, police said. Lupo was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and black shorts, police said.

According to police, Lupo is very distinguishable by the way he taps his head with his hand while walking.

Police request that anyone with information contact the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911 – all callers will remain anonymous.
