Pokémon Training Ground Pop-Up Coming To Westbury Target Sunday

WESTBURY, NY — Pokémon fans will get an immersive shopping experience at the Target in Westbury on Sunday.

The store will be transforming into LEGO Pokémon Training Ground during its one-day pop-up on Aug. 23 as Target celebrates the launch of new LEGO Pokémon sets.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 999 Corporate Drive in Westbury.

An interactive Pokémon Training Ground will be in place, where fans can take on the role of a Trainer. There will be a Trainer Table with LEGO Pokémon builds to take home, Nurture & Battle Stations where fans can earn stickers, and gift-with-purchase and photo opportunities.

The Westbury location is one of only four Target stores across the nation to host the one-day event. The location had a similar event in April for Pokémon's 30th-anniversary celebration.
