Police Identify Man Who Died After Truck Rolled Over Him

HICKSVILLE, NY — The man who died after a truck he was working on rolled over him in Hicksville on Monday has been identified, police said.

Eliseo Colatosti, 66, of Hicksville, was working on a truck at an automotive service on South Oyster Bay Road at 2:52 p.m., when the truck crushed him, Nassau County police said.

According to police, he was pronounced dead at the scene, and no criminality is suspected. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
