In the wake of 9/11, he needed to write dozens of eulogies. She would help him. Based on a true story.
Nick, a NY fire captain, lost most of his men in the 9/11 attacks. Devastated, he reaches out to Joan, a magazine editor, to help him write the eulogies. Over the course of one long afternoon, the two strangers — from very different worlds — work through grief together, and in remembering "the guys," discover an unexpected connection.
Based on a true story, this powerful one-act play is a moving tribute to loss, resilience, and human connection, brought to Long Island audiences by EastLine Theatre. This event is free and open to all at Hicksville Public Library. Register here
