Customers Fight At Nassau Deli: 1 Stabbed, 1 Arrested: Cops

NEW CASSEL, NY — One person was stabbed in the stomach during a fight between two customers at Westbury Deli in New Cassel, police said.

The 34-year-old man who was stabbed was taken to a hospital just after 10 p.m. Tuesday and listed in stable condition, authorities said.

An investigation led to officers arresting Santos Alexander Andrade Urias, 34, of Westbury. He suffered a deep cut to his right index finger and was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.

Andrade Urias faces charges of first-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
