Firefighters Rescue Keys After Couple Dropped Them In Storm Drain

HICKSVILLE, NY—A Hicksville couple experienced a little bad luck Sunday after dropping their keys down a storm drain.

According to officials, the keys were dropped down a drain at the 7-11 on Woodbury Road.

Fortunately, crews with the Hicksville Volunteer Fire Department were able to pop the drain cover and retrieve the keys, which were about 15 feet down the drain.

Officials said the couple was very grateful that firefighters were able to rescue the keys, so they could go on with their day.
