Nassau Pedestrian Run Over By 90-Year-Old Driver, Police Say
BREAKING: Police say it happened around 8 p.m. Monday.

HICKSVILLE, NY — A 90-year-old driver hit a pedestrian who was crossing a street in Hicksville, leaving the man with multiple serious injuries, police said.
Around 8 p.m. Monday, a 35-year-old man was walking at the intersection of East Old Country Road and South Broadway when he was hit by a 2007 Nissan Altima, Nassau County police said.
The driver stayed at the scene and the vehicle was impounded for a brake and safety check.

The pedestrian suffered multiple serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital. Police are not releasing his name.
