Hicksville Wellness Expo Brings Health, Fun, And Community Together
More than 80 organizations join the event, offering resources, activities, and family connection.
HICKSVILLE, NY — Hicksville Middle School hosted a Wellness Expo dedicated to health and wellness.
The April event featured more than 80 community-based organizations, PTA units, donors, volunteers, and community members, and was made possible by the Hicksville Family Partnership Program.
Informational tables and healthcare resources filled one half of the gymnasium, with the other flooded with activities, such as obstacle courses, car racing, meeting a therapy dog, and a Zumba session.

Hicksville Family Partnership specialist Maritza Quintero said the event was a welcome space for families to connect.
"The Wellness Expo is a wonderful example of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared commitment to supporting the whole child and family," Quintero said.
