Join the Girl Scouts for S'more Excitement on National S'mores Day
Come Make S'mores, Crafts and Join a Girl Scouts of Nassau County Troop
Wednesday, August 10th at 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
WHAT: Come join the Girl Scouts of Nassau County in celebrating National S’mores Day and get a “taste” for the Girl Scouts experience. Anyone interested in becoming a Girl Scout, or anyone interested in marshmallow-chocolatey treats, is welcome to make s’mores, do arts and crafts and learn more about joining the ranks.
In addition to the traditional graham-cracker sandwich filled with melted chocolate and roasted marshmallow, all are invited to work with the Girl Scouts to create unique s’more-inspired creations using the Girl Scouts’ own Mags&Munchies chocolates. The event, at Cantiague Park in Hicksville; will serve as a day of sweet celebration and an opportunity to learn more about the Girl Scouts of Nassau County experience. Membership specialists will also be onsite to answer any questions and register any girls and young women who are interested in joining the Girl Scouts of Nassau County.
