HICKSVILLE, NY — With hurricane season until the end of November, the Hicksville Public Library is providing training for residents.

The New York Citizen Preparedness Training Program highlights the necessary tools and resources to overcome severe weather.

In the Oct. 8 training, you'll learn how to develop an emergency family plan and what supplies to stock.
