Nassau County Drug Dealer Possessed 100 Bags of Heroin: Police
The man was responsible for an overdose to a Nassau County resident, police say.

A Queens Village man was found to be in possession of 100 bags of heroin after he was arrested Tuesday for intending to sell the drug in Nassau County, police say.
According to authorities, an investigation revealed Rashad Salamalay, 23, was responsible for an overdose to a Nassau County resident. The investigation also revealed he intended to sell heroin in Westbury, police say.
Salamalay was arrested as he left his home at 6:15 p.m. by Narcotics Vice Squad detectives and was found to be in possession of the 100 bags heroin, police say.

Salamalay was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
