Nassau County Weekend Crash Victim Dies From Injuries: Police

The 25-year-old victim collided his SUV with a dirt bike in New Cassel.

NEW CASSEL, NY — The victim of a weekend car accident has died. Police identified Fredy Polanco, 25, of New Cassel, who succumbed to his injuries from the Saturday night crash.

Polanco was driving a 2011 Honda SUV on Union Avenue at Grand Boulevard when attempting to make a turn and collided with a Yamaha dirt bike, authorities said.

There were no other injuries and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
