Neglected Animals Found In Cages, Tanks Inside Carle Place Home: Police
BREAKING: A resident of the home is accused of animal cruelty.

A Carle Place man faces animal cruelty charges after police say animals were found to be in poor condition inside home on Monday.
The Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals went to 20-year-old Christopher Koenig's 11th Street home at 12:46 p.m. for an investigation and discovered that multiple animals were being kept in cages and tanks in the basement of the residence, police say.
Koenig was placed under arrest after authorities observed the condition of the animals, police say. The SPCA removed the animals from the home.

Koenig was charged with aggravated cruelty to animals and failure to give food and drink.
Koenig was released on an appearance tickets returnable on Tuesday, June 27 to First District Court in Hempstead.
