Stop and Shop Helps Plainview Family Enjoy First Weekend of Fall at Long Island Fair

Plainview residents (left to right) Laurie and Gavin Silver and their three year-old daughter Penny visit the Stop & Shop Nature's Promise stand at the Long Island Fair held at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration. Stop & Shop provided the Silvers and other families attending the Fair with Nature's Promise snacks, which are free from non-essentials such as artificial colors, artificial flavors, and artificial preservatives. Nutritionists and health educators also provided attendees with information on everyday healthy-eating habits, the importance of choosing nutritious options and answered questions about the importance of a balanced diet.
