Town Celebrates Return Of Indoor Dining As Region Enters Phase 3

Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino, together with fellow officials Councilman Lou Imbroto, Councilwoman Laura Maier, Councilwoman Vicki Walsh, Receiver of Taxes Jeffrey Pravato and County Legislator Rose Marie Walker, joined to celebrate the return of indoor dining as the Long Island region entered into Phase 3 of reopening. The celebration was held at Patrizia’s of Hicksville, where owners and Chamber of Commerce officials marked the occasion with a ‘grand re-opening’ and ribbon cutting.

“We are so pleased to celebrate the return to indoor dining, for those who rather eat inside and especially those restaurants who may not be able to accommodate for outdoor dining,” said Supervisor Saladino. “Now it’s our turn as patrons to do what we have to do and support our local restaurants. After all, the success of our local businesses benefits us all.”

Councilman Imbroto added, “Dining at local restaurants helps revive our economy, puts people back to work and gets us back to a sense of normalcy, which many are longing for. The success of our local merchants directly correlates with the vitality of our neighborhoods and we are all pleased to support them.”
