Police ID Two 19-Year-Olds Killed After Driver Crashes Into Tree, Building In Nassau: PD
The driver, 23, lost control of his BMW; he was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment, police say.
HICKSVILLE, NY — Two 19-year-olds who died in horrific Nassau crash Friday night have been identified as Alexa Duryea, of Levittown, and Lindsey Parke, of Levittown, police said.
According to Nassau County police, the crash took place at 11:30 p.m in Hicksville. Detectives said a 23-year-old male was operating a 2026 white BMW, heading westbound on Old Country Road in the vicinity of Sterling Place, where he lost control of his vehicle, crossed over into oncoming traffic and struck a tree — and then a building.
The two female passengers suffered severe trauma and were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment, police said.
