Two Teens Assaulted And Beaten Unconscious In Nassau

Police say three men assaulted the teens, one being hit with a baseball bat and the other getting punched in the face numerous times.

Two teens were assaulted -- one beaten until he was unconscious -- in Hicksville Friday night.

According to police, the two teens were walking near the corner of Dakota Street and Burns Avenue at 8 p.m. Friday when they were approached by three unknown men who had gotten out of a white Nissan Rogue.

One of the men was carrying a baseball bat and hit the first teen in the head with it twice. The second teen was pushed to the ground, and then all three men began punching him in the face, which knocked him unconscious. The three men then fled in an unknown direction.

Both teens were taken to nearby hospitals by family members, who then called the police.

Police say the man with the bat was in his 20's and had short black hair and a medium build. He was wearing a red shirt. The other two are only described as men in their 20's.

Police ask anyone with information about this assault to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and you could receive a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.
