Flea Market Vendors Busted for Selling Counterfeit Goods: Police
Police allegedly found fake designer bags, wallets, fragrances, shirts, belts and watches.

Two vendors were placed under arrest Saturday after police said they sold counterfeit designer goods at the Westbury Flea Market.
Officers responded to the flea market located at 960 Brush Hollow Road, at 11:30 a.m. and discovered that Mohamed Hassan, 25, and Vladimir Shamalov, 35, both of New York City, were selling counterfeit designer bags, wallets, fragrances, shirts, belts and watches, police say.

This incident comes just two days after $1 million in counterfeit clothing was allegedly found at a Westbury warehouse.
The men were placed under arrest without incident. Hassan was charged with five counts of second-degree trademark counterfeiting and two counts of third-degree trademark counterfeiting. Shamalov was charged with four counts of second-degree trademark counterfeiting and first-degree trademark counterfeiting.

They were arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
