• Man arrested on fraud charges in Highland (newportdispatch.com) — A 36-year-old man has been charged after state police say he cashed fraudulent checks at Ulster Savings Bank branches and was processed at State Police Highland. The investigation, which began in 2024, led to felony grand larceny and forged instrument charges. He was arraigned in New Paltz Town Court and is due back in October.
