The multi-restaurant dining platform launches at 825 New York Ave.; grand-opening week proceeds support local hunger-relief nonprofit.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Wonder, a multi-restaurant dining platform that allows customers to order from several restaurant brands in a single transaction, officially opened its 100th location in Huntington on Feb. 5 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, music and free food samples.
Located at 825 New York Ave. in the Huntington Commons shopping center, the storefront is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. During grand-opening week, the company said it is donating $1 from every order sold to Island Harvest, a Long Island hunger-relief organization.
A steady crowd gathered for the afternoon event, which featured giveaways and live music as WALK 97.5 broadcast from the site. Attendees sampled items including wings and brisket while ticket raffles and promotional gifts were distributed to early visitors.

Founded by entrepreneur Marc Lore, Wonder operates as a centralized kitchen model that enables “multi-restaurant ordering,” allowing customers to combine menu items from more than 20 restaurant partners into one order through in-store kiosks, phone ordering or a mobile app. The company offers pickup, delivery, and limited dine-in service.
Menus are developed in partnership with chefs and established restaurant brands, with participating concepts including barbecue, pizza, salads and other cuisines intended to accommodate families or groups with varied preferences.
