$2,300 Charge Made On Stolen Credit Card In Huntington Station: Police

The card was used at an Apple Store after eight cards were stolen from a shopping cart in Costco in Melville, police say.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help finding the man and woman who, police said, used a stolen credit card in Huntington Station in September.

Eight credit cards were stolen from a shopping cart at Costco, at 625 Broadhollow Road, Melville, around noon on Sept. 14, police said. Two people tried to use the cards at the Apple Store in the Walt Whitman Shops later that day, police said. One purchase for approximately $2,300 was successful, police said. The duo is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
