2 Cold Spring Harbor Student-Athletes Recognized
Two students received the 2022 New York State Association of Health Outstanding Physical Education Student Award.

COLD SPRING HARBOR, NY — Sarah Kiefer and Mathew Hastava, Cold Spring Harbor High School Class of 2022 seniors, both received the 2022 New York State Association of Health Outstanding Physical Education Student Award, the school district announced.
Both students were chosen based on their exemplary leadership, outstanding character, teamwork, commitment and achievement in physical education.
Kiefer, who runs cross-country and winter and spring track, and Hastava, who participates in fencing, are among 114 Long Island students named winners of the Nassau Zone Awards by the New York State Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
