3 Injured In 6-Vehicle Crash On LIE In Dix Hills: Police
3 people were taken to hospitals with minor injuries after a 6-vehicle crash on the westbound LIE, police said.
DIX HILLS, NY — Three people were injured in a six-vehicle crash on the Long Island Expressway in Dix Hills Monday morning, Suffolk County police said.
Police responded to the westbound LIE near Exit 51 at about 9:45 a.m. on Aug. 24, according to a department spokesperson.
The crash involved six vehicles, police said. Three people were taken to area hospitals with minor injuries.
