3 Taken to Hospital Following Huntington Station Crash

The two-car accident took place Monday afternoon.

Three people were transported to a local hospital after they were involved in a two-car accident in Huntington Station on Monday afternoon.

The crash took place on West Jericho Turnpike and Oakwood Road at 3:30 p.m., fire officials said.

Huntington Manor Fire Department and Huntington Community First Aid Squad volunteers responded to the scene.

Firefighters secured both vehicles and applied an absorbent for a fuel spill, according to fire officials.

Huntington Manor firefighters were on the scene with an engine and a heavy rescue truck, under the command of Chief Frank McQuade.

Those injured in the crash were taken to Huntington Hospital by Huntington Community ambulances.
