4 AP Artists From Harborfields HS Selected For Go APE Exhibition

GREENLAWN, NY — Four student-artists from Harborfields High School were selected to participate in the 16th annual Go APE Advanced Placement Exhibition at the Art League of Long Island, the school district announced.

Seniors Sarah Ahlsen and Nora Sweeney-Gladen and juniors Giada LoPorto and Liza McPherson, all from Eugenia Ritter’s AP art class, earned the recognition.

The gallery show ran from Feb. 4 through 18 at the Art League’s Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery in Dix Hills. The four students were also invited to a closing reception and awards ceremony on Feb. 18.
