5 Test Positive For Coronavirus In Huntington School District
The positive tests are scattered across four schools; four of the infected are students.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Five people — four students — tested positive for the coronavirus across multiple schools in the Huntington Union Free School District, according to a Tuesday news release.
Of those who tested positive, two are Flower Hill Primary School students; one is a Jefferson Primary School student; one is a Nathaniel Woodhull School student, and the other is a non-instructional staff member from J. Taylor Finley Middle School.
The cases were reported to the Suffolk County Department of Health Services once they were confirmed, Superintendent James Polansky told the community in a letter. Close contacts were advised of the positive tests and told to quarantine.

"Again, I urge you to maintain your vigilance in following all screening and safety protocol, and in
helping keep our students and staff safe," Polansky wrote.
