5 Things Going On This Weekend

1. Antiques In April: The Huntington Historical Society will offer various items from their collection for sale April 15 in the barn on the Daniel W. Kissam property in Huntington from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Museum Shop will be open and various dealers will be offering items to the public. Details

2. Bud Harrelson In Town: Author and former New York Met Bud Harrelson will be at the  at 7 p.m. Friday speaking about and signing his memoir, "Turning Two: My Journey to the Top of the World and Back with the New York Mets."

3. High School Lacrosse: On Friday — St. John the Baptist at St. Anthony's in girls lacrosse at 10 a.m.; Bayport-Blue Point girls lacrosse at Huntington at 4 p.m.; and La Costa (Calif.) at St. Anthony's in boys lacrosse at 11 a.m. On Saturday — Holy Trinity at St. Anthony's in girls lacrosse at 10 a.m.; Cold Spring Harbor at Huntington in boys lacrosse at 2 p.m. 

4. "True West": Sam Shepard’s dark comedy about two brothers' sibling rivalry is both terrifying and hilarious. The production runs for six performances on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, April 12 to 14 and April 19 to 21 at 8 p.m. at the Bare Bones Theater, located at 57 Main St. in Northport. Tickets $20.

5. Music From The Great American Songbook: Five Towns College in Dix Hills presents "The Great American Songbook," telling the story of the first 50 years of American popular music. Show runs Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets $10.
