5k Run At Caumsett To Honor Woman's Late Husband
The event will benefit Smile Train, a charity that provides free cleft lip and palate surgeries to children in developing countries.

A Long Island native Candy Bertuccio will be hosting race at Caumsett State Park in honor of her husband, Joe, who recently passed away.
The "Smile Train 5k Family Fun Run In Memory of Joe Bertuccio" will benefit Smile Train, an international children’s charity that provides free cleft lip and palate surgeries to children in developing countries.
The event will be held Saturday, May 13.

Event details:
- 8 a.m.— Registration
- 8:20 a.m.— Fun Run kick-off
- 9:30 a.m.— Awards and speeches from Candy and Smile Train CEO, Susannah Schaefer.
Each participant will also receive light refreshments along with a race t-shirt and bag.
