6 Shops Sold Alcohol, Vapes, Cannabis To Minors In Town Of Huntington: PD
Two of the businesses had been cited earlier this year for selling products to a minor, police say.
TOWN OF HUNTINGTON, NY — Six businesses in the Town of Huntington sold alcohol, cannabis or vape products to minors on Tuesday, Suffolk police said.
Officers checked 11 businesses after receiving complaints from the community, police said.
Two of the businesses that were cited had been issued citations for selling to a minor earlier this year, police said.

An employee of Smoke & Beer Convenience Store, at 216A Laurel Road, East Northport, sold alcohol to someone who was underage, police said. He was charged with first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child and second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child.
The following four businesses had employees charged with second-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, police said:

- Green Leaf Smoke Shop, at 247 Broadway Greenlawn, Huntington. This business previously sold to a minor in 2023, police said.
- Smoke Bazaar Cigar & Vape Shop, at 67 Broadway, Greenlawn.
- Country Tobacco, at 765 Route 25A, East Northport.
- Oasis Smoke Shop, at 38 Laurel Road, East Northport.
An employee of East Northport Smoke Shop, at 250 B. Larkfield Road, East Northport, was charged with unlawful sale of cannabis, police said. The store had previously sold to a minor in 2023, police said.
All six employees were released on field appearance tickets and will appear at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
Police will notify the Town of Huntington and state agencies for follow up investigations.
