$8K Dumpster Stolen In Huntington Station: Police

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A person stole a dumpster in Huntington Station in November, and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding them, police said.

A 30-yard dumpster was stolen from outside Advance Service Center, at 360 East Jericho Turnpike, around 6 p.m. Nov. 9, police said. The suspect fled with the dumpster on a flatbed truck, police said. The dumpster was valued at approximately $8,000, police said. The thief is wanted for grand larceny.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
